Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, with the highest standard of care.
• Capture and develop high-quality dental X-rays.
• Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices and overall dental health to empower them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Assist the dentist in managing oral health concerns, providing exceptional patient support throughout.
• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation.
• Ensure the cleanliness, sterilization, and organization of treatment rooms and dental instruments.
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout dental procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in dental hygiene practices through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license and certification in the State of Texas.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with dental office management software and systems is preferred.
