Dental Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing, technology-driven dental practice. Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for patient care.
  • Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic treatments.
  • Take digital radiographs, intraoral photographs, and scans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.

Patient Experience

  • Greet patients warmly and help create a welcoming, comfortable environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients before, during, and after treatment.
  • Anticipate patient needs and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Help patients understand treatment recommendations and the value of their care.
  • Support a positive patient experience that encourages trust, loyalty, and referrals.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Collaborate effectively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members.
  • Maintain open, respectful, and solution-focused communication.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Technology & Innovation

  • Utilize digital imaging, intraoral scanners, and other advanced dental technologies.
  • Learn and adapt to new systems, workflows, and clinical technologies.
  • Assist in maintaining efficient clinical workflows through effective use of technology.

Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting certification and radiology certification as required by state regulations.
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning and using advanced dental technology.
