Scheduling Coordinator – Buffalo Prairie Dental

We're  seeking a dedicated Scheduling Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional  patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. What we are looking for in you … 

  • Proven experience as a Scheduling Coordinator in a dental or medical office with 2+  years of experience in providing exceptional customer service and supporting a profitable  practice. 
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills. 
  • Energetic and Positive attitude along with Strong communication & interpersonal  relationship building skills. 
  • Proficiency in dental software and state-of-the-art equipment. 
  • Comprehensive dental knowledge and ability to effectively communicate dental  terminology with patients.  
  • Willing to go above & beyond and assist our patients in accordance with the training you  receive to ensure patients receive the best possible service! 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Greet patients, schedule appointments, handle incoming calls & answer questions.  Act as a servant leader, demonstrating care & compassion. 
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, taking into consideration dentist availability and treatment times. 
  • Confirm and remind patients of upcoming appointments via phone, email, or SMS.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to accommodate emergency cases and patient needs.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Manage the appointment schedule to minimize gaps and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to verify insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Assist in the preparation of patient forms and documentation. 
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the dental office as needed.
