Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Office Operations Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. Duties

  • Supervise daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • Oversee financial management tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using systems like Dentrix Ascend
  • Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
  • Coordinate with dental professionals and support staff to uphold clinical standards, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
  • Monitor practice performance metrics, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies for continuous improvement in practice management
  • Facilitate communication between patients, staff, vendors, and external healthcare providers to ensure seamless operations

Skills

  • Proven experience in dental office management with a strong understanding of dental terminology and dental records management
  • Expertise in managing fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and revenue cycle processes
  • Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix Ascend
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a clinical setting; strong human resources skills for staff development and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
  • Ability to handle complex scheduling, billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and acute care workflows
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced dental environment
