Hi everyone — Dr. Tom Birong here.
Our office in Akron is growing, and I\'m looking for the right Office Manager to join our team.
I know every office says they\'re different, but what I\'m looking for goes beyond experience. I want someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, can lead a team through both the good days and the challenging ones, and understands that taking care of patients starts the moment the phone rings.
We\'re a busy private practice looking for a strong, organized leader who can help create an exceptional experience for our patients while keeping the office running smoothly.
What we\'re looking for:
• Dental office management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Someone who handles stress well and remains calm under pressure
• A team player who can hold others accountable while building positive relationships
• Someone who genuinely enjoys helping patients and supporting their team
What your days will look like:
• Answering phones and helping patients feel welcome
• Confirming appointments and managing the schedule
• Greeting patients and handling check-in/check-out
• Reviewing treatment plans and collecting co-pays
• Following up on patient accounts receivable
• Supporting and managing the team
• Helping navigate difficult conversations with professionalism and compassion
What matters most to me:
I want someone who takes pride in creating a positive patient experience, building a strong team culture, and helping our office succeed. The right person won\'t just manage the office—they\'ll be an important part of the relationships we build with our patients every day.
If you\'re looking for a practice where your experience is valued, your leadership matters, and you can make a real impact, I\'d love to meet you.
