Dental Office Assistant Manager – Etters, PA

Beautiful Smiles Family Dental Center is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Dental Office Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Etters, PA. We are looking for a long-term team member who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced dental environment, and is committed to building a career with our practice.

The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of dental assisting experience (4 years preferred) and possess exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. We will also consider candidates with 5+ years of experience working in a dental practice who may not have direct dental assisting experience. An outstanding candidate with a Bachelor's degree who is seeking a long-term career in the dental field will also be considered.

PLUS – We have a therapy pup in the office, so applicants MUST LOVE DOGS!

Schedule (Full-Time)

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Starting at $24.00 per hour, with opportunities for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and professional environment for all patients and guests
  • Verify insurance coverage and accurately enter insurance information
  • Enter and maintain patient records using Dentrix practice management software
  • Collect co-pays and post patient payments
  • Manage office email communications and respond promptly to patient inquiries
  • Assist with scheduling, administrative duties, and daily office operations
  • Perform additional administrative responsibilities as assigned
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR
  • Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience (4+ years preferred) OR
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a dental practice if no dental assisting experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain:
    • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
    • PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
    • Federal Background Clearance
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
