We’re an upscale, privately owned, fee-for-service dental office that has been thriving for 30 years in Old Town, Alexandria, doing comprehensive dentistry. We’re looking for a Business Team Member to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes: a master of organization, a scheduling ninja, and a customer service pro whose attention to detail is everything! If you’re nodding “YES,” keep reading—we might be a perfect fit!

Schedule: Full-Time

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM
• Tuesday (2 shift options): 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Friday (alternating): 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Compensation:

• Starting at $25–$30+/hour (commensurate with experience)

What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Keeping schedules organized and full for doctors and hygienists\xa0
• Keeping patients happy through exceptional customer service
• Prompt management of phone calls, texts, and emails
• Using established office systems to to make consistent follow-up attempts
• Assisting with billing, financial reports, and office coordination
• Verifying insurance information and managing claims
• Assist with improving patient retention and satisfaction
• Oversee patient check-in/check-out
• Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk
• Contributing to a fun, supportive team environment

• High school diploma required (college education in business or healthcare is a plus)
• Comfortable with computer skills and managing various software
• Familiarity with dental office procedures and insurance policies
• Ideal but not required: Dentrix experience
