Our growing Manhattan dental practice is seeking a highly organized, proactive Office Manager to lead daily operations and elevate the patient experience. You will serve as the operational leader of the office, overseeing patient flow, optimizing scheduling, managing insurance processes, and supporting the clinical team. Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organization

• Create a welcoming, high-end patient experience from first contact through treatment completion
• Manage patient communications across phone, text, and online platforms
• Optimize provider schedules for productivity and efficiency
• Minimize gaps and cancellations while maintaining a positive patient experience
• Oversee insurance workflows including verifications, authorizations, claims, and credentialing
• Manage treatment plan submissions and ensure accurate, timely billing
• Follow up on outstanding claims and patient balances to support collections
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
• Assist with onboarding and training of team members
• Oversee practice management systems to ensure accurate records and reporting
• Utilize software and analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in dental office management or a senior front desk role
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and collections
• Experience with Denticon or similar practice management software preferred
• Proven ability to manage schedules and improve operational efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
