Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA, DA, or OA) – San Diego, CA 92128

Our private, family-owned orthodontic practice is seeking a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. We recently moved into our beautiful new office. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Orthodontic experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right Dental Assistant who is eager to learn and grow with our practice.

Schedule, Full-time

• Monday – Thursday
• Fridays may be added as needed

Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a positive experience
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures
• Take digital scans, photographs, and x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Remove and replace wires, elastics, and orthodontic appliances as permitted by licensure
• Travel between office locations as needed

Requirements

• Active California Dental Assistant or RDA license
• Orthodontic experience preferred but not required
• OA certification is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable transportation between office locations
