Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Are you an experienced EDDA looking to join a supportive and patient-centered team? Tates Creek Dental is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to help us deliver high-quality care in a friendly, welcoming environment.

• A consistent Monday–Thursday schedule (Fridays optional depending on doctor schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor in a variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, and impressions
• Place and contour restorative materials (fillings)
• Take and process high-quality digital X-rays
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-op instructions
• Ensure a clean, sterile, and organized operatory
• Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental
• Fabricate temporary crowns and other lab-related tasks
• Collaborate with the clinical and front office team to ensure smooth patient flow

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Kentucky EDDA certification
• At least 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Open Dental and digital workflows a plus
