Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

Bentz Dental Group – East Norriton, PA
$23–$28 per hour | Benefits | No Weekends

Bentz Dental Group, a privately owned multi-specialty dental practice in East Norriton, PA, is looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

Our modern practice focuses on  Prosthodontics, Dental Implants, and General Dentistry, providing high-quality care in a supportive and patient-focused environment. We are seeking a team member who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.

Schedule

Full-Time

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments prior to procedures
• Assist dentists chairside during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Assist with procedures including crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants
• Perform laboratory tasks as directed by the dentist
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection control protocols
• Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records
• Help coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient appointments
• Support front desk duties when needed, including greeting patients and scheduling appointments
• Assist with administrative tasks to help maintain smooth office operations

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Experience in prosthodontics or surgical dentistry is a plus
• X-ray certification required in accordance with Pennsylvania state law
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and common procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
